Josh Miller is a Partner at Recognize and a member of the Firm’s Investment Committee. He joined the Firm at its inception and brings more than fifteen years of technology investing and operating experience. Prior to Recognize, Josh founded and served as a Managing Partner of Atomic, a venture studio in San Francisco, where he helped build a number of successful technology businesses including telemedicine pioneer Hims & Hers Health (NYSE:HIMS), and TalkIQ, one of the first enterprise AI applications (now Dialpad). Earlier in his career, Josh worked at Bain Capital and Blackstone.

Originally from Washington, DC, Josh graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Classical Studies and a B.S. in Economics. Outside of work, Josh is an avid skier, golfer and gardener, and is passionate about improving access to education globally.

Josh currently serves on the board of directors of Ciklum, egen, MediaMint and Qubika. He is also a member of the Governing Board of the St. Albans School of Public Service and the Steering Committee of the UJA’s Young Wall Street Division.
